About Us
From Refugee Camp to a Foundation of Hope

Sparq Asia was founded in Phoenix, Arizona in 2019, born from a vision forged in resilience and faith. Our founder's journey began in a refugee camp in Thailand, where she was born after her father served as a soldier during the Vietnam War.

Given a new beginning in the United States, she was deeply shaped by two worlds: the memory of displacement and the privilege of opportunity. She leveraged that opportunity to earn her Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Leadership and Management from Arizona State University, equipping herself with the skills to one day give back.

It was during this time she experienced the transformative love of Christ, a love that ignited a calling in her heart. She knew she was called to return hope to the forgotten communities of Southeast Asia—not as an outsider, but as one who understood their struggle.

This calling became a shared family mission. Together with her husband and her brother, who shares deeply in this vision, she co-founded Sparq Asia. It is more than an organization; it is a family's response to a divine assignment. Today, the founder, her husband, and her brother continue to lead this work personally, guiding our every step with their firsthand experience and unwavering faith.

We carry their shared vision forward by addressing the most fundamental needs they understand intimately: providing a safe home and a life-changing education for vulnerable children.

We believe that by meeting these needs in a Christ-centered environment, we don't just change a circumstance—we continue the cycle of hope she herself was given, empowering a new generation to build a future of purpose and impact.
